Bearers and joists!

Wow, it feels like major progress today. You can really see the back of the house starting to take shape now.

Ant caps on the posts (as promised in previous entry).

Looking back at the house from the edge of the deck. It’s a little hard to make out with the shadows, but were the joists stop (running towards us) is the edge of the house. You can see the bearers for the deck clearly running across the picture at the front without joists at the moment.

Looking back at the extension and the deck from the house. Again, it’s hard to make it out in the shadows, but you can see how the joist at the far right is the edge of the house. The deck overhangs the corner of the house.
