Eight for Ella

We celebrated Ella’s 8th birthday with a party at home on Saturday. It was a beautiful, sunny day and we spent most of it outdoors on the deck. Ella had some school and family friends over to have some lunch, bash a pinata, and learn about snakes and reptiles in a wildlife show that came to entertain kids.

Ella had a lovely time and we were pleased to host her party as we feel like she missed out last year. She was in Singapore and had a small family dinner with her grandparents, as we were on our way to the UK. Tim did his usual fantastic job of preparing the birthday cake, a number eight made by a snake:
