Kids have been accepted into “Fircroft” school, a local school with slightly more students than Alphington (360+) and much less space!  There is no playground, no grass and only a small garden.  The walls are surrounded by high fences and barbed wire. Ahhh, the joy of inner city London.  The head teacher seems very nice however and we are yet to meet the classroom teachers.  We are quite sure this is what counts the most and hope that it will all work out OK as there really isn’t  alot of option for the kids in terms of local schools with spaces.We are happy they have a place somewhere, that’s the most important thing to start with.
