The journey home

The final day, Monday the 14th was totally exhausting. We had to get up, pack bags, clean the van then return it to Glasgow. From there we had to kill around four hours until we could head to the airport. We cruised the centre of town (paying 6 pounds a bag to leave it with the luggage store at the train station) and had lunch in the mall. The tiring part was the flight home, which although it only takes an hour, puts us into London Stanstead which takes about 2 hours to get to our house from. By the time we finally got here and the kids into bed it was mid-night. All in all, a wonderful holiday, but the last day was a bugger! I then had to get up the next morning at 6AM to get packed again and head out to Reading where I had meetings for the next three days.
