Week 226: Australia
Mostly photos as we explore rural Australia.

I didn't intend to write a post this week, but I took a lot of photos that I wanted to share here as a memory. Perhaps you'll also enjoy them.

Shanghai Airport. It was huge, and also cheap to fly via here.
We flew back to Australia, spent the week with my parents around Noosa, and then drove into the NSW countryside.

Mum and Dad's house backs onto rain forest and they get a lot of birds stopping by to visit. I took FAR too many bird photos! The sulphur-crested cockatoos are a favourite. There's also Rosella's, Bush Turkeys, Kookaburra, Butcher Birds and a Green Tree Frog in this collection.
It's been fun returning after so long away. We're enjoying reliving our favourite foods and snacks after a long time apart and of course, time with family is precious when we're on the other side of the world.

Travelling through rural Australia is like going back in time. But the scenery and buildings can be very photogenic.
We are looking forward to a big family Christmas this year, the first since 2016, so that will also be special.

Landscape shots driving through rural Australia. Mildura does an amazing Eggs Benedict breakfast!
Until next time,
