Week 8: Internal demolition *really* begins

The bathroom, pantry and laundry were fully gutted. We also had the skip arrive and the large pile of rubbish loaded up for removal. We’ve now pretty much moved fully into the front few rooms, only venturing into the back of the house to use the kitchen and the washing machine. With so many holes in floors, walls etc. the back of the house is now very drafty and cold, especially with the change in weather!

As you pull the house apart the old frame shows glimpses of what went before — under the shower was were the old toilet used to be.

Looking back past the kitchen at the now gutted bathroom. There is no longer a floor.
