We've had better days.....
Tim’s stomach ulcer is looking more like gall stones, and he’s currently in hospital; staying in overnight and having more scans done on Friday. He was in quite a bit of pain, but just as the kids and I left hospital this eveing they were giving him morphine. He’ll sleep better tonight at least. We frustratingly don’t know much, despite him having been at hospital for 11 hours already. Scans will tell us more tomorrow, but I chatted to the Doctor tonight and he may not need surgery. It depends on how large the stones are, and what the doctor in charge recommends. He even mentioned a dose of antibiotics is possible with surgery 2 or 3 months later. We’ll have to see…….Kids and I are holding up pretty well. Ella made him a Get Well card that said “My Dad is sick” and Jasper didn’t seem to ackowledge what had happened until he saw his father in the hospital bed, and then pulled at my arm to go home. When I tucked him into bed he said, “It’s been a weirdo day Mum”. Yes it has……..
