Life without kids

The last week has been VERY exciting for Karina and I. The kids have gone to Singapore to visit Grandma and Grandpa travelling with Qantas as unaccompanied minors. I dropped them at the service desk last Tuesday and 9 hours later, they were met in Singapore by Grandma and Grandpa.

New couches

Not much more to say than that! We bought a new couch to replace the green ones which were getting very tatty and worn. Still need to move the old ones and set up the room a bit, this probably isn’t how it will stay, it’s a little

Work Travel to Washington DC

I returned last Saturday morning from a week long (short?) trip to Washington D.C. Unlike most times I travel, I was fortunate this time to get a little time off to head into the city and see the monuments as this was the first time I’ve been here.

Kids doing kid things

We had Inta, Mick and Clinton Blackford over for dinner on Saturday evening (hi guys!) and had a great time catching up. Clinton and Jasper both went to kindergarten together before going their separate ways, but they enjoy catching up. They were in the lounge with the sliding door shut
