London Richmond Park Today (Sunday) Karina went shopping up and down the Richmond high street, while I took the kids to explore Richmond Park. I really enjoyed it — extremely large, rambling heath and woods right in greater London. It was so good, I went back again later in the afternoon to explore in
London 27 Wiseton Road When Karina took the kids to the school on Friday, they also took this photo of the front of our new house. We’ll move in on this Wednesday.
London School News Kids have been accepted into “Fircroft” school, a local school with slightly more students than Alphington (360+) and much less space! There is no playground, no grass and only a small garden. The walls are surrounded by high fences and barbed wire. Ahhh, the joy of inner city London. The
London Qualified Childrens Cook We saw this notice in a local shop window here in Richmond. Ella was in stitches as she swears it reads “cook your childrens”.
London Working in the city I’ve been enjoying the walk into the city each morning, the weather is sensational here at the moment. I took the camera in to share a couple of the sights. This is a view of Big Ben through the London eye — I see this as I walk from Waterloo
London Getting a school Well, we have settled in more now since arriving on Monday. Amazing how quickly it has all happened. The kids are not too fazed by the differences we have experienced, such as:1. Always walking on the right-hand side of the footpath, and standing on the right of escalators2. New
London Aqualisa, the shower controller from hell OK, that’s a big claim, but there is not much positive to say about this piece of esoteric engineering. Here is the process for getting the shower on. I swear every step is true, it took me about 10 minutes to sort it out this morning. 1. Turn both

London Ella's 7th Birthday Today was Ella’s 7th birthday. It was very exciting to spend it with Grandma and Grandpa in Singapore. She had a very relaxed day, doing what she wanted to do. We had lunch at Spag”Eddies” and she watched movies and swam in the afternoon. We picked up a
London Parata lunch We ate lunch today at Mr Paratas. Singapore has both strong Chineese and Indian influences and there are many Indian eateries. The Parata is a roti bread, sometimes with fillings and eaten with curry sauce. Delicious. We tried a banana and curry parata which I really liked, although Karina wasn’
London Jasper and Mr. Bird Mr. Bird is a special bird that travels with students from Prep 1J when they go travelling. Jasper is very proud and excited to be taking Mr. Bird with him, although we often panic about where Mr. Bird might be on any given day! Today Mr. Bird visited the Singapore
